PISA Cohort 3 grew to 21 startup teams, delivering a structured three-month journey covering startup teams, business models, product development, sales, finance, fundraising, and pitching.
With a larger and more diverse intake, Cohort 3 strengthened the pipeline of Pahang founders and prepared selected teams to showcase their progress at Demo Day.

Throughout the programme, participants engaged in a series of learning sessions, practical assignments, and mentor engagements aimed at sharpening commercial thinking and business execution. The structured approach enabled teams to identify opportunities, address challenges, and refine their venture strategies.
As the accelerator progressed, participating startups gained greater clarity on customer needs, revenue generation, and investment positioning, enabling them to communicate their value proposition more effectively.

A key milestone of Cohort 3 was Demo Day, where startups presented their businesses, achievements, and future plans before investors, partners, and members of the entrepreneurial community.
Qarbotech emerged as the overall champion with its photosynthesis enhancement technology, Qarbogrow, which utilizes carbon quantum dots derived from agricultural waste. The solution helps farmers increase crop productivity, improve crop nutrition, and enhance carbon capture while supporting more sustainable food production.
First runner-up was awarded to MyRehat, a tourism marketplace that connects travellers with accommodations, activities, and local experiences. The platform focuses on supporting underserved operators and tourism providers while expanding access to unique destinations and travel offerings across Malaysia.
UMORIE secured the second runner-up position with its graphene battery technology designed to improve energy storage performance. By integrating graphene nanotechnology into lithium-ion batteries, the venture aims to deliver longer battery lifespan, faster charging capabilities, and improved energy efficiency across multiple industries.

Beyond the competition itself, Cohort 3 highlighted the value of structured guidance and continuous refinement in helping early-stage ventures gain momentum.
The programme provided teams with greater market awareness, stronger decision-making capabilities, and broader exposure to industry and investor perspectives.
The accomplishments of Cohort 3 reinforce PISA’s role in supporting emerging ventures and equipping aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools needed to pursue sustainable business success.
