PISA Cohort 6 selected 21 startups from 273 applicants, representing solutions across AI, education, healthcare, agriculture, sustainability, sports technology, finance, and social impact.
The highly competitive intake reflected the growing momentum of Malaysia’s startup ecosystem, bringing together founders with innovative ideas and strong ambitions for growth. Following a rigorous selection process, the chosen startups embarked on an accelerator journey focused on validating business models, strengthening market readiness, and accelerating growth.

Throughout the programme, participants benefited from masterclasses, mentoring sessions, office hours, and networking opportunities designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and industry connections needed to scale their ventures.
The cohort showcased a wide range of innovations addressing real-world challenges while creating meaningful impact across industries and communities. Their progress culminated during Demo Day, where startups presented their solutions, achievements, and growth plans to investors, ecosystem partners, and industry stakeholders.

A key highlight of the programme was the recognition of the top-performing startups of PISA Cohort 6.
Putra Agrotech emerged as the overall champion with its innovative flood-resilient rice seed variety designed to minimise flood-related losses in Malaysia’s paddy fields while supporting higher yields and strengthening food security.
First runner-up was awarded to C’Reh by Dermisco, a research-based skincare startup offering a patented botanical brightening serum developed using Piper betle extract. The venture stood out for its commitment to scientific innovation, product safety, and halal-ready skincare solutions.
KasiSetel secured the second runner-up position with its social enterprise model that creates flexible income opportunities for housewives through home-based laundry folding and ironing services, delivering both economic and social impact within local communities.

Beyond celebrating startup achievements, PISA Cohort 6 highlighted the growing strength of innovation and entrepreneurship within the ecosystem. The participating startups demonstrated both the potential of their ventures and their commitment to creating meaningful impact.
As the programme concludes, founders leave with stronger business foundations, valuable industry connections, and greater confidence to pursue the next stage of growth.
Their journey reflects PISA’s continued commitment to nurturing future-ready entrepreneurs and building a thriving startup ecosystem for years to come.
